Melanie Brecht of Rogers has joined the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, working part-time in client services. Brecht started work at the Food Bank on June 11 and works two days a week.

Brecht helps check in clients and handing out food at the mobile pantries as well as focusing on tracking client data.

“I have a big heart to serve Northwest Arkansas,” Brecht said. “I find a lot of joy working at the Food Bank and helping people.”

She is a 2018 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in communications and a minor in social work.

“I am so excited to have Melanie on staff here at the Food Bank!” said Casey Cowan, director of client services. “She brings a wonderful energy to the group and has already proved to be an invaluable help at our mobile service pantries in the one month she has worked here.”

She is the daughter of John and Melissa Brecht. She has an older brother, Ian.
