With the population of Northwest Arkansas continuing to grow at a rapid rate, the need for food distribution services to those facing or experiencing hunger is increasing. In 2007, the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank distributed over two million pounds of food in Benton, Washington, Madison, and Carroll counties. It is through partnerships with over 150 member agencies that we are able to reach out to those in need.

In 2007, the Food Bank became a full affiliate of America’s Second Harvest,  the Nation's Food Bank Network, allowing the Food Bank access to additional nation-wide monetary resources and food donations.

In the first quarter of 2008, distribution has increased 37% at the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank.

We've Changed Our Name!

In January 2008, the Ozark Food Bank changed its name to the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank to give the public a clearer picture of the area that it serves.

With the continued growth of Northwest Arkansas, the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, through partnerships with corporate donors and local member agencies, is meeting the challenge of feeding the hungry in our communities.
